Product Description and Application:

In ultra-high voltage direct current transmission (HVDC) or ultra-high voltage direct current transmission (UHVDC) systems, the neutral grounding resistor of the transformer (valve side) connected to the AC switch field of the converter station is used to prevent damage to high-voltage cables and other electrical equipment caused by sudden short circuits, intermittent arc grounding overvoltage, etc., improve the reliability of power system operation, and enhance the safety level of the system.
